Nissan Repair: air conditioner 300zx, nissan north america, 300zx

Question
I have a 1990 300zx, the air started blowing warm so I took it to the dealer. They first thought it was a line or a seal but later said the compressor was leaking and it needed a whole new system. I ok'd the $2600 repair, they put it in and now say it won't cool over 70 degrees the vent or door won't open and the heater that was working
fine now doesn't work right. Both heater and air blew great when I took it in there. They have had the car almost
3 weeks and now want me to meet with them. Do you have any ideas what they did wrong and how to fix it? Thanks!

Answer
Paul/Dave,

I would go nuts on them since the car's heater did work before and now does not.  If you have the computerized air the computer or the control is defective and needs to be worked to get it to work properly.  For $2600 bucks they need to get it working correctly or get you in touch with someone that has the ability to make the system work correctly.  If they do not have what it takes you need to contact Nissan North America to get the problem resolved.
