Nissan Repair: 1992 Nissan d21 pickup ka24e engine wont start, theft recovery cars, nissan d21

Question
I have a 1992 Nissan d21 pickup with the ka24-e engine, and due to theft my trucks wiring harness has been cut and removed along with all relays the distributor, throttlebody, instrument cluster and ecu. I have replaced all parts with spares I have purchased. And have soldered in all relays and missing wire harness end connectors. And now my truck wont start but will crank. I have checked the codes from the ecu and it flashes code for crank angle sensor/circuit. I have also checked for spark and have none but have battery power at coil.

Answer
Keith,

I would check the crank angle sensor first and if ohms out properly I would start backprobing to the ECM and see if there is a break in the wiring.  I know you did all this work soldering and if you have everything correct good luck.  But, I have done theft recovery cars before and I just get a replacement harness from the wrecking yard and replace the whole thing.  But, that is just me.  You see, there could be a wire that is pulled internally from where they ripped out the harness connectors.
