Nissan Repair: Nissan 200SX fuse or bigger problem?, nissan 200sx, fuse box

Question
Have a 1998 200SX SER and just replaced the battery since car would not start without a jump.  With new battery car starts right up.  But nothing that runs on the battery except the headlights work (no horn, windows, locks, fan, radio, etc).  Is there just 1 fuse that controls all this?  Seems like a lot for 1 fuse.

Answer
Hi Dennis -

PLease check the following -

There is a fuse box for the larger circuits in the engine compartment, shoulkd have a bunch of relays as well. Locate it and check each fuse.

Did you replace the battery terminals as well? Ensure that all the wires that were removed are replaced. Sometimes there are 2 or 3 wires that attach to the positive side of the battery.

Near that fuse box I was speaking of above, look for a fusible link. I will appear like a large gauge wire, maybe 8, or even 6.

Hope this helps Dennis -
