Nissan Repair: Nissan Stagea RB25DE, jerky ride, nissan stagea, tyre sizes

Question
Hi Calvin, can you help have changed plugs checked coils to no avail, from cold and driving at low speeds in town no problems
when vehicle hot and at speed vehicle starts a rhythmical jerking and can only be cleared momentarily by decelerating, then starts all over again also bad vibration through steering, but not when cold, could this be a fault with ATTESA, oil level ok tyre sizes correct and no warning lights. Thanks Dave

Answer
Hi Dave -

Have you checked the spark plug cables, connections to the distributor cap, even the distributor cap and rotor itself? Could be carbon tracking there.

Also could be the fuel pump not putting out on demand. Check that too.

Another is the ignition module (located in the distributor cap). Although a defective module will cut the engine out when hot, and restart later after a few minutes, could be the initial signs of failure.

Hope this helps Dave -
