Just have a quick question. Not sure who to ask. I recently rolled my '97 nissan pathfinder XE. I need to get a new driver's window but need to know what window tint before I order the glass. The windows have never been replaced since it was bought, so do you know offhand where i can find this information? Apparently the tint is rated from 1 to 7. Any ideas? It's getting a little cold driving the vehicle up in northern british columbia with no driver's window.

I do not know about your laws in Canada (by the way, beautiful country, I was in Whistler not too long ago), but here the driver's and passenger's window cannot be tinted due to safety. However, I am sure when you order the window (is it from the dealer or a glass shop?) they will know the tint rating. In fact, they have tint meters that tell you what percent of tint your window has, so all they have to do is measure your passenger side, and duplicate that one.
