Nissan Repair: Removing drive belts on a 2000 Nissan Maxima, haynes repair manual, tensioner pulley

Question
I am in the process of changing the front crank seal on my 2000 Nissan Maxima, however I am having an issue removing the drive belts. I have located the tensioners but can't loosen the belts. I used to have a '91 accord and I would have to loosen the altenator first then remove the belts. However, it does not appear that I can do the same thing here.

I read through the Haynes repair manual and it states that I may have to remove one of the devices to get the belts loose. Would you happen to know which one(s) that would be? And not to be greedy, would you also happen to know where the pcv valve is? The Haynes manual says it's behind the throttle body but I have not seen it. Once I have the answers, I plan on taking photos of where this stuff is so that others can have a better idea of what to look for and where to look.

Thank you for your help and time.

Answer
Elmer,

The power steering is like the alternator on your old Honda.  Loosen the pivot bolt and the lock bolt and loosen the adjustment bolt.  The other belt is held by the idle/tensioner pulley.  Loosen the center bolt in the pulley and then loosen the long adjustment bolt and all the belts will come off.  Remove the front passenger side tire and the inner cover to access the lower pulley to get to the seal.
