Nissan Repair: 1998 240SX turn signal and sidemarkers...., 194 bulbs, signal lamps

Question
Hazard lights flash correctly, turn signals flash fast... probably the flaser where is it located? Also I have no juice  travelling the sidemarker's wires, I'm not to concerned because the bulbs are integrated in the aftermarket (bodykit) turn signals that were on the car when I bought it.

I have 168/194 bulbs in the front turn signals is that causing this? there were no bulbs when I bought it, so I didn't realize it needed 921's, would that be causeing the fast flashing?

Answer
Hi Greg -

I am sorry, I don't quite understand what you are asking, but please check the bulbs to see if it is the right application. The 168 and 194 bulbs are really small guys and not usually used for turn signal lamps. They are more like the 2056 or 2057 bulbs. Having the wrong bulb could also be the reason that it flashes so fast.

It should be listed in your manual, and also you can get the info by calling any auto parts store.

Please try this and get back to me OK?
