Nissan Repair: 94 NISSAN PATHFINDER, throttle position sensor, mass air flow

Question
QUESTION: I noticed a few weeks ago my truck started bogging every I hit the gas.  I replaced the fuel filter and the mass air flow but it still doing the same thing.  I've switched out the spark plugs and 2 of the 6 are stuck and can't come out.  Could this be why?  I only bought the truck 2 months ago.

ANSWER: Lukas,

Spray Liquid Wrench in the holes on top of those stuck plugs and wait a couple of days and then replace them.  This could be a real cause for the bogging.  Also, check the throttle position sensor.  Get a Haynes Manual for the procedure and a digital volt/ohm meter.  It is simply a matter of probing the connector at the throttle body.

QUESTION: Well, I forgot to mention there is nothing to grab hold to...  It looks like the person who owned the truck before really worn it down and screwed it up good.  Do you have any other suggestions?

Answer
Lucas,

There are speciality sockets to remove stuck bolts but I have not heard of ones for striped and stuck sparkplugs.  If you cannot get the plugs out the head will have to be removed and sent to a machine shop.  So, I would try another socket and more lubricant before tearing down the engine.
