when traveling 80 to 100kms, the revs usually are about 2000.  At moment it is sitting about 3000 - like it won't go into the next gear.  When stopping the brakes squeese on more than normal, then very sluggish to take off.

Change the fluid and filter and see if that fixes the revs and sluggishness.  If not, you need to take it in and have the transmission codes read.  SOunds like it is straving for fluid like the fluid is gummed up and the filter is too or the valve body is sticking.
