Nissan Repair: 1995 nissan maxima, fuse block, nissan maxima

Question
Hi...I was driving my car 2day and as soon as I made a left hand turn....the heat turned off, the odometer went to zero, the rpm gauge went to zero, the temp gauge went to cold, and the windows stopped going up and down...the signals also stopped....I think its a fuse problem but could all of the fuses blow out at the same time....or is there one fuse for the entire instrument panel?

Answer
Jay,

The common thread here would be the ignition relay or ignition itself that feeds power to the fuse block.  I would first wiggle the key and see if the assessories come back on.  If not, I would be looking at the master fuse on the positive terminal of the battery.  If that does not do the trick the other place to look is in the relay box under the hood.  Find the ignition/assessory relays and switch them around and see if things power back up.  Now, if you have an aftermarket alarm there could be an issue where it ties into the vehicle and that could kill all the things you describe.  Email me back and let me know what you find.
