Nissan Repair: 91-94 nissan sentra water leak thru the ac fan only when raining, ventilation flap, nissan sentra

i have a water leak through the ac fan only when raining.i disassembled the ac fan and found water there. it seems that run down through the ventilation flap as was with signals of been wet.
any clues of what is happening here and how to fix it ?

The blower case has a drain that is supposed to channel the water out of the vehicle.  If the drain is missing or plugged you will get overflow.  Also, if the cowl cover is damaged too much rain will get in and overfill the drain system leading to leaking inside.  Check out the drain and make sure the case is not cracked as well as the cowl for cracks or damage.
