my truck broke the cam shaft and messed up the cylinder head I changed the head and set the timing by the book but my distributor rotor is not pointing to the #1 pin and my truck want crank I have even tried moving the plug wires to make it point to the #1 pin still want crank what do I need to do

Back to basics here on the timing seting.  First, you need to pull number one plug and spin the engine over until air pushes out the plug hole.  Now, hand turn the engine a little until the timing points to number one.  Once that is done remove the distributor and reinstall it where the distributor points to number one.  Once this is done reinstall the plug wires at their proper location.
