Nissan Repair: Air Bag Removal, sodium azide, nissan altima

Question
I have a 1995 Nissan Altima that I need to remove the aribags from for offroad racing purposes.  My question is what kind of Torx bit do I need to remove the airbag.  I can't seem to get past the dimple that they have in the center of the torx bolt.  Can I get the socket or do I need to go to the dealer?  I don't want to go to the dealer because I am doing this on a budget.  Also I am aware of the safety procedures of removing bags, I just need to know the tools required.

Answer
Jon,

The airbag bolts are anti-tamper and you have to purchase a torx bit that has the hole to compensate for the dimple.  You can remove the airbag yourself.  But, you have to do it in this order.  First disconnect the battery, then pull the airbag fuse, wait five minutes.  Then remove the cover under the dash to get to the yellow airbag harness.  Then, you can remove the airbag.  Do not get in front of the airbag.  As in, sitting close to the wheel while you are removing it.  Sit beside the car and work from the back of the wheel.  Remove the airbag and hold the pad side away from you and sit it down face up so if it does go off it will not launch across the room.  Sodium azide is pretty powerful stuff.  I would call around to see if there is a recycler that takes them.
