Nissan Repair: Car jumps, warped rotors, nissan maxima

Question
I drive a 1995 Nissan Maxima. When I use the brakes and stop at a light, my car jumps. It does this repeatedly when stopped. When I accelerate, I don't feel anything. When the car is in park, it doesn't do anything. It only does this jumping motion when I have my foot on the brake. It happens about five to ten minutes after driving the car for a while. What could be the problem? This is an old car and I'm not really up for expensive repairs.

Answer
M,

When you put on the brakes do you mean it jerks while coming to a stop?  I think that is what you mean and that could be warped rotors that need to be turned or replaced.  Also, it could have to do with contamination on the rotors, as in grease and such.  I would have the brakes looked at.  Email me back if you need more.
