Acura Repair: Fuse keeps popping, positive cable, instrument cluster

Question
QUESTION: I have 90 civic Si. I was installing a new positive cable and when i was tightening the starter bolt i forgot that the negative was still connected plus the positive and when the wrench touched the something, alot of sparks flew and i got really worried. so finished the cable and i checked to see if the car would start and it did, then i went to turn on the lights and there was no instrument lights, corners, or tail lights. So i checked mostly all the bulbs and they look good but the fuse keeps popping. What the heck do i do?
ANSWER: pull the wires out and try again. You have a short somewhere and I have a bad feeling that the wires for your instrument cluster may have fused together and may be causing a short. Make sure nothing is touching positive to ground.

QUESTION: I checked everything but i didn't know which wires you were referring to, and if it is the cluster, i just have to replace it or will it be more there than that? thx

Answer
If you install a new cluster it's really easy. There a few screws under the dash pull those off then pull the cluster and there are I think 2 connecters behind the cluster. When you do pull the old cluster off try using a multi meter and see if your getting anything from the connecters that will tell you if it is an issue with the the cluster or the wires.
