hi my rev counter keeps sticking in different positions when driving could you help me please ray

Ray,

Either the tach is going out or the wire resistor combination is shorting out.  If you hook up a scanner to the test port and the tach reads find then it is the tach.  To verify this hook up a tach tester to the coil and see what the reading is.  From my experience it usually is the tach.  I say this since you did not say any other gauges were working intermittantly.
