Nissan Repair: 86 300zx stall when hot, fuel pressure regulator, 300zx

I have a 86 300zx runs great when cold but as soon as temp gets to normal it sputters. if i turn ignition off and restart i runs for about 1 mile then does the same thing. Fuel pump has been changed. fuel pressure regulator tested ok.

Check the distributor for the presence of oil on the optics.  This is under the distributor cover so you have to take the cap, rotor and rotor post off to get to the cover and then remove it and inspect the shutter wheel and optics for the presence of oil on both.  Repalce the distributor if there is oil and a rebuild is fine.  If the distributor is good check the EGR for proper operation.
