Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1930 ford model a tudor, secondary ignition, hello bill

Question
will not start gas in carb fire getting to bottom of spark plug on top of piston but no gas getting to plug plug is dry

Answer
Hello Bill,

If you've got fuel and fire, you should be ready to start. Many times just priming the carburetor (pouring a 1/2 oz of gas down the carburetor throat), making sure the choke is fully closed. If still not successful, check your electrical (all secondary ignition wires installed on distributor in the correct firing order); and check that distributor is installed properly and in correct initial adjustment.

You're close to starting! Good luck with these tips.
