Nissan Repair: 1990 300zx TT - turbo rebuild, 300zx tt, motor mounts

Question
The turbos are shot and need to be rebuilt and I am having some trouble getting them out.  I have been hearing that I might have to pull the motor to do this but I am trying to avoid that if possible.  Should I take off the bottom motor mounts and jack up the motor or is there a better way to get them out?  Or am I really gonna have to pull the motor all together?

Answer
Sorry, removing the engine will actually be easier than trying to get them out. Here is a little suggestion that will save a little time. The main harness that goes thru the firewall for the eng (computer harness) follow it inside the car and disconnect all the connectors and pull the harness back thru the firewall. This way you can leave most of the connectors on the sensors connected. Take your time!!! This is going to be a long process, take digital photos of brackets and other  problem areas to help you put it back together. If I had to do that job at the dealer I would charge about 25 hours! Good Luck.
