Nissan Repair: G20 intermittant start, electrical inspection, autozone

Question
our 94 G20 Infiniti suddenly wouldn't start. Lights were bright but starter didn't make a sound. Had it towed home, hooked a charger to it for a few minutes and it started, but only 2 or 3 times, and then no start again. I thought, must be the battery or connection. cleaned terminals, installed a fully charged battery, and same thing. And then a little later it started 2 times then nothing. I did notice that on its last crank it sounded like the battery was going dead, but lights still bright and battery is fully charged. any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Wayne

Answer
Wayne,

Sounds like the starter is going out as my first thought.  Since you say the starter mande that dragging sound and the lights are still good.  Jump the carand go to Autozone or Checker to have the electrical system checked.  Be sure not to turn it off at the store.  They will do an electrical inspection for free with their analyzer.  Email me back if you need more.
