Answer
Shakira,

With the engine cold remove the radiator cap and see how much fluid it has.  Top it off.  If it overheats and dumps fluid check a couple of things before you start replacement of parts.  First, do the fans work?  When the engine gets to operating temperature the fans should come on.  If not turn on the airconditioning.  If the fans come on then the fans are good and the cooling fan relay or sensor needs to be replaced.  If the fans work then replace the thermostat.  Check it out and let me know what you find.
