Nissan Repair: Brakes, anti lock braking system, lock braking system

Question
I bought a 2005 pathfinder with 19,200 miles on it.  The car is 2 yrs. old. after 3 mos. of driving, when I come to a hard stop, it feels like the brakes are grinding. Nissan claims nothing is wrong after checking the brakes 2 twice. They did resurface the front rotorsNow the brakes squeaks some times when I am coming to a stop.

Answer
You may possibly be feeling the effects of the anti-lock braking system. If you are stopping hard enough to start to lock-up the wheels, anti-lock will be activated, its
known to give off a grinding sound that appears near the floor by your feet. On the brake sqeaks, there is a technical service bulletin on your squeak. I cannot post this bulletin you can sometimes find them online just type in TSB.
