Nissan Repair: 1993 nissan altima runs ruff, nissan altima, exhaust pipe

It seems like it is missing. I has run great foe 240000 miles and burns no oil but is acting up now. it started two days ago and is getting progressively worse.my exhaust pipe broke in front of my muffler, could this have something to do with it? is there something that can be checked for an easy fix??

You will need to check the basics like a tune up with new plugs, cap, wires and rotor.  Change the fuel filter too.  Get the exhaust welded up and then it is diagnosis time.  I wil assume there are no check engine codes?  If there are go to Autozone or Checker and they will read the codes for free.  Email me back what these are if any.
