Nissan Repair: Froze Motor, nissan pickup, static timing

I was changing my timing chain on my 94 Nissan Pickup, when i put it back together my motor was froze. What would cause this?

If the static timing is set wrong the valves will hit the pistons and the engine will not turn over.  Check the timing gears to make sure the timing is mechanically correct.  You will probably have to remove the timing chain and set it again.  It is probably 180 degrees out.
