Nissan Repair: door is not getting closed, nissan exterra, power locks

i have a nissan exterra 2006 model...very starnge thing happening one of the front and rear door is not closing..what should i do

it seems like your door locks are engaged or your frame is out of alignment.  heavy doors put stress on your hinges over time, but seeing as your exterra is an 06 model, i highly doubt the second statement to be true in your case.  this should be still under warranty and my best suggestion would be to take it to a dealer and have them check out the locks. it could be a manual defect in the door itself or an electric defect in your power locks switch.  i hope this helps.  doors that wont close is a huge annoyance...especially in the winter!  good luck with your repair and hopefully we can get this fixed without expense.  let me know how this turns out for you.  xxp_sebby@yahoo.com
