Nissan Repair: fuel system, fuel pump relay, fuel pressure

Question
the car won't start cranks but won't start. I checked the for spark which was fine.  the plugs smelled like gas but we not wet.  i decided to check for fuel.  i disconnected the fuel line coming from the filter to the rail and cranked the motor. No fuel came out. I checked the connection in the trunk and seemed fine.  i checked the fuse and was fine. The car had some trouble before this starting. sometimes it would bog out and die but start back up after being off for a couple minutes.  Sometimes it would just wouldn't start at all but then after a couple tries it would.

Answer
Manny,

If you have no fuel pressure I would be checking and replacing the fuel pump relay and if that does not do the trick remove and replace the fuel pump.  Also, be sure to replace the fuel filter.  But, from what you say I think the fuel pump relay due to it being intermittent.
