"I went thrue my Haynes manual and still can't identify the BCM computer. Is there another name for it? My car is a Canadian model. (it has daytime light) I bridged the wires from the lock as you suggested but the "security" amber  dash light kept flashing all night. How else can I disable the alarm system

The flashing light really has nothing to do with the alarm and it flashes either way.  It is a bogus attempt to make people think the car is really protected.  If the alarm is not going off then you are fine.  Also, the BCM should be called that.  And, if it were me I would go to the nissan website and download the factory manual for $20 bucks.  They give you an hour for $20 bucks to access the manual on-line.  All you do is download each .pdf into a directory and you will have what you need.
