Nissan Repair: non-nissan, air control valve, compressor clutch

HI sorry but there is no Honda expert. I'll understand If you can't answer!

95 accord dies with a/c on, idles fine when it's off. had a civic once before had to replace a "idle air control valve" but symptoms were different idle went up and down a/c on or off could this be same problem or should I look elsewhere? hate to go buy a idle valve and find it's something else since they are over $200 bucks!

Sounds like the airconditioning compressor is stuck and is in need of replacement.  When you turn the airconditioner on and the compressor clutch applies the engine dies. With the engine off reach down and try to spin the outer plate on the compressor.  I bet it is stuck.  Email me with what you find.
