Nissan Repair: 1987 4x4 Lower control arm bushings, 4x4 nissan, control arm bushings

Question
Hello Von,
I would like to replace my 1987 4x4 nissan's lower control arm bushings.  I have everything take off and out of the way to remove it.  What tool do i need to get the old bushing out and reinstall the new ones.
Please help!

Leroy

Answer
Leroy,

You need a press to press out the old bushings and press the new ones in.  If you do not have access to a pres a machine shop does not charge much for the service.  Simply take the control arms and new bushings and they should do all four for under $50 bucks.  A press will cost you $200 or more and you still have to assemble it.
