QUESTION: my nissan 240sx dash lights dont work and no fuses are blown help me.

The dimmer switch on the dash is the usual problem.  Now, if you put an aftermarket radio in check the wiring since Nissan does some strange things with floating grounds and if the radio is aftermarket and hard wired you could have a wire that checks out as ground when the key is off and power when the key is on.

QUESTION: how would i go about the wire with the radio. what do i do to find that right wire?

First, did the dash lights work with the current radio?  If so then it is not the radio.  Second, the dimmer for the dash lights is a known problem after ten or so years.  Now, for the wiring you will need a Haynes Manual to get the wiring diagram in the back of the book that shows the colors and what each wire does.
