Nissan Repair: transmission leak 2000 maxima, pan gasket, transmission leak

My 2000 maxima SE is leaking trany fluid right by the bottom of this little cover between the where the motor mounts to the transmission. Is this a big problem.

sounds to me like the tranny pan gasket.  its not too big of a problem unless you don't take care of it!  rtv or a replacement gasket will do the job.  get a filter and change the fluid out too.  preventive maintenance saves cash in the end.  good luck and let me know if this works out for you.  xxp_sebby@yahoo.com
