Nissan Repair: engine flooding in a 1990 300zx, internal combustion engine, proper ratio

Question
What would cause the engine to flood in a nissan 1990 300zx?

Answer
flooding (too much fuel) happens when there is improper spark on startup or having a restricted air flow to your intake.  3 things any internal combustion engine needs is air fuel and spark, without the proper ratio, you will have problems.  as far as in detail, it may be plugs, wires, distributor, cap, rotor, ignition, ground, etc.  how long has it been since you changed your plugs?  try draining your oil and put in some fresh oil and plugs, along with a few shots of intake cleaner on the throttle body.  its trial and error, but its all relative.  i hope this helps you out!  let me know what you find out.  xxp_sebby@yahoo.com
