Nissan Repair: 2001 nissan sentra gxe, throttle position sensor, nissan sentra

my car is stopping at red lights, or when I get ready to park. It just started yesterday ( march 12, 2007). It was fine until I went to help a friend and left my lights on, for maybe 15-20 minutes. after I drove back home, it cut off on me twice, and today it did it again.

is it doing it when you slow down (near stopping) and when you stop?  when you say it cut off on you twice, where you moving when this happened or did it happen both times while you stopped or slowed down near stop?  if it happens when you stop, i belive it is your throttle position sensor.  is your car throwing any codes or is your check engine light on?  i would get the codes from your ECU for further diagnostics, but my suggestion is the TPS.  good luck and let me know what you find.  xxp_Sebby@yahoo.com
