Nissan Repair: 100 amp fuse removal, amp fuse, nissan pathfinder

I have a two part question.
I have a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder that has a blown fuse in the under hood box directly beside the battery. The fuse in question is marked 100 amp and I can't pull it out.
Is there a screw holding the fuse in place and if so how do I get at it?

If you are talking about the one on the terminal it lifts out.  It is probably corroded in place and will take some wiggle to get it free.  Use plyers and you hsould be fine.  This is the one for the alternator.  So, if it is blown the alternator is probably out or you might have an aftermarket amp in the car that backfeeded into the charge circuit and blew the fuse.
