i just bought this truck and knew it had an oil leak.  The previous owner said it was from a "weep" hole.  Is there such a thing and will some over the counter leak stop help?

The weep hole would be from the waterpump and that would be antifreeze.  If you have an oil leak you need to figure out where it is and then replace the seal.  The fix in a can stuff does not work.  My bet would be the valve cover gasket or the front and rear seal.
