CAR (5 SPEED) IS RUNNING SLUGGISH. IT IDLES UP AND DOWN. CHANGED THE O2 SENSORS..CAR STILL DOING THE SAME THING. IT JERKS SOMETIMES LIKE WHEN A PERSON IS JUST LEARNING HOW TO DRIVE A STICK
-----Answer-----
Angela,

Give me the year of the car.  If it has a distributor I would say the optics are contaminated with oil.  If it is distributorless I would say the crank position sensor is defective.  Emali me back with the year and let me know if there is a check engine light.

Answer
Angela,

Take the car to autozone or checker and get them to check the codes and then email me back with the codes.  They will perform the test for free.  Reading over what you have written I would say the air intake hose might be cracked or the mass airflow sensor could be defective.  But, email me the codes and we'll go from there...
