Nissan Repair: heater and ac lights, nissan maxima se, nissan maxima

i have a 2001 nissan maxima se , i just noticed that just four of the buttons for the heater and ac controls arent lit up, its the rear defrost front defrost and two of the vent controls, is this a fuse problem or something electrical

Sounds like you have the manual airconditioning system?  If this is correct and only some of the lights work I would think they are defective.  You can check the fuse but I think the lights are burnt out.  Or the connection for them on the back side of the control is defective.
