Nissan Repair: 98 Frontier Tach install, haynes manual, firewall

i need to know where to hook the green wire from the tach.  i can handle the
hook up of the other three wires, but am unsure of where the most important
green wire goes?

Aftermarket tach?  If so, you need to wire it to the tach wire on the coil.  The post is marked tach.  It is easier to hook it to the one on the harness that goes to the cluster.  But, I do not have a schematic to tell you which one.  A Haynes manual has the wiring diagram that has the colors of the wires and that would be the easiest way since you do not have to go out throught the firewall to connect the tach wire.
