Nissan Repair: 97 Quest Rear Brakes, haynes manual, rear brakes

Just looking for some pointers...i'm gonna be doing my back brakes and i want to know what to expect, any specific tools i might need...i've never done the brakes on the rear before so any help would be appreciated...thanks

Get a Haynes manual for the diagrams.  Get a pair of brake plyers if yours has drums and a spring compression tool.  Important on drums not to contaminate the brake area and make sure not to damage the wheel cylinder.  Take one side a part at a time so you can use the other side for reference.  They are mirror imaged.  Make sure the brake adjuster screws are screwed in so when you put the drum back on it will fit.  Now, adjust the brake shoes so they just start to drag on the drum and you are done.
