Will a automatic tranny from a 1987 Nissan 4x4 V6 interchange with a 1995?

Not a direct bolt in but it will fit as long as you take all the other things that connect to it.  Remember, that the 1995 is fully electronic and the 1987 is not so if you are putting the older transmission in the newer vehicle you will have to make provision for shifting and if you put the newer one in the older truck you will need the electronics to run it.  So, I would stick to a similar year unless you are really going to have the time to work the bugs out.
