My BF is trying to install 2 amps to his 94 camero z28, to a dvd player/cd radio(PYLE). The amps are a Quantum Audio 1800wats one chanel and the other is Kenwood 500 watt 4 chanel? The dvd works, there is a picture but as soon as he puts in the fuse there's a pulse coming out of the speakers but no noise.

There are some good references for this model (and for the 1995 model which may be very similar.)

I suspect there are wiring issues with the speaker wiring.  He should have purchased a wiring harness which will let the wiring match up to the amps he is installing.  You can find the wiring harnesses at www.installer.com or at crutchfield.com - they are both very good for GM cars.

Check the wiring to the speakers very carefully as they require absolute connection integrity without getting mixed with other channels or grounding wires.   Mis wiring is the most common problem in symptoms as you have explained.

Installation should be done step by step, checking out each connection as it goes to make sure all is well.
