Nissan Repair: nissan p/u 94 tension rod, bolt hole, 4x4 auto

i have a 94 nissan p/u 4x4 auto 6cyl i had to replace my driver side tension / compresion rod everything was going fine exept i can not get the bolt closest to the front to line up its the front bolt the one that holds the rod to the lower control arm the holes are off by 1/2 bolt i did change the lower balljoint axle and shock before i installed the new rod any ideas how i can get this bolt to line up does the lower control are move right or left to help align this the bolt is off from left to right not front to back or when i have the it aligned can they make an adjustment to get the bolt in thanks dave

You could loosen the lower control arm and wiggle the bolt hole over where you can get the bolt in.  Then, tighten the lower control arm back up.  Do not remove it just loosen it to aid in getting the other bolt in.  Get it aligned ASAP as it will be a tire eater if you wait.
