Nissan Repair: 1991 300ZX TWIN TURBO, 300zx tt, playing russian roulette

Question
VON...I own a fabulous "1991" 300ZX TT which I was fortunate to discover in August of 2002 and purchase with ONLY 6400 original miles.  As of today I only have 24,000+ miles, and the past 4 years have been trouble-free, EXCEPT for a bad Fuel Injector which I had replaced about 2 months ago.  Recently the same symptoms have arisen with the car missing terribly and shaking after decelerating and re-accelerating.  My mechanic looked at it today and determined that another injector/cylinder was now mal-functioning. We have decided to replace the other 5 injectors instead of playing "Russian Roulette".  Does this make sense or should I just try some "Injector Cleaner" and hope for the best.  I LOVE my car and with such low mileage have no problem inventing in its posterity as it truly looks "Showroom New"....YOUR ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
Regards,
RON

Answer
Ron,

You have an awsome car and I would replace all the injectors, and the fuel filter.  Always use premium fuel to keep things clean.  THe problem you are having is probably due to the previous owner and so few miles being driven the first few years.  Fuel injectors plug up if the car is not driven on a regular basis.   Again, I love your car.
