Nissan Repair: 95 Nissan Sentra, Brake Light Is On, nissan sentra, brakes and rotors

Question
My brake light in my car came on a few days ago and I just noticed that my brakes aren't catching as quickly as possible, but they still work.  I had my brakes and rotors replaced in August, and the lights didnt come on when they were going bad before, and I've also checked the emergency brake, and it works fine.  My brakes aren't making any funny noises or anything out of the ordinary, so I was thinking it is just low on brake fluid?  Whats your suggestion?

Answer
Colleen,

It could be low on brake fluid or the master cylinder is going out.  If the fluid is not low have the shop look at the master cylinder.  If it goes out the brake light will come on intermittently and eventually it will fail.  No fun not having brakes.  Please have it checked soon.
