Nissan Repair: 93 nissan 240sx wont fire, nissan 240sx, timming

I just replaced a engine in my nissan and it wont fire up,i checked the compression  there all at 150psi,it's getting spark,the timming is set,and still nothing,i even tried starting fluid but didnt help, what do u think it could be?

i would recheck the timing on this car.  it seems to me that the timing is off, especially at the distributor.  download this factory service manual http://www.phatg20.net/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=230 or go here http://www.phatg20.net/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=66  this will give you an in depth description on how to replace everything and set it up accordingly.  if starting fluid doesn't help, and its getting spark, then its not timed right.  maybe having a friend turn the distributor while you turn the key?  never know , you could be just off a few degrees, or have some bad plugs and wires.   try it all and let me know your results! xxp_sebby@yahoo.com
