Nissan Repair: Speed sensor stuck in tranny, nissan frontier, speed sensor

Hey Dinger. 1998 Nissan Frontier Xcab 5-speed 2.4L gas engine.
I can not remove speed sensor. A mechanic could not pull out. Any suggestions on removal w/o trans disassembly?

Hi Rich,

Oddly enough, I am faced with that issue as we speak. We have a 300zx, which has the same transmission as the Frontier, that we can not remove the speed sensor and it's out of the car. My tech tells me it's because someone has hammered on it and elongated the whole. I will keep you posted on how we got it out hopefully by today.
