Nissan Repair: pathfinder 4x4 automatic transmission, light flashes, edger

Question
If i start the truck it will drive, but if i stop the transmission will not move.would one of the AT solenoids cause the transmission to not move.Because it does not slip it just won,t move.

If the truck moves when you first start it and then it will not after you stop it could be two solenoids locking up at the same time.  Basically, two gears applying at the same time.  Or, the four wheel drive could be the problem.  Take it out of FWD and see if it drives.  It is hard to diagnose not seeing the vehicle in person.  Email me back with what you find.  Also, if the overdrive light flashes that means that the transmission has a code set.
