Nissan Repair: swapping manual for auto trans 91 nissan pickup, nissan pickup, pickup 4x4

want to swap a manual trans for auto trans in 91 nissan pickup 4x4 v6. doable? is transfer case the same? will i have to change the ecu? any advice appreciated. thanks

If you have an integrated case, which from memory you do means that you will need the transmission and transfer case from a manual car.  Then it is possible.  Remember that you will need a pilot bushing for the end of the crank along with the linkage for the clutch.  Best bet is to find a doner in a wrecking yard to get all the parts you need.
