Nissan Repair: 96 Infiniti Odometer, infiniti g20t, computer interface

I have a 96 Infiniti G20t.  The speedometer is working fine, but the trip and odometer is not.  What do I need to do to fix.  I appreciate your assistance.

If the odometer is not electronic and is normal the gears in the odometer are gone.  Get one from a wrecking yard and replace the gears.  If it is electronic you will need to do the same thing.  The problem here is if you do not have the actual reading or your title on the car reflects under a hundred-thousand miles you will need to note the actual mileage and reflect this on the install.  It is easy to make the numbers read what you want with the regular odometer.  But, with the electronic/digital type you will need to go to someone with the computer interface that allows them to change the miles to reflect actual miles.  None of this is a big deal if you are going to drive the car till it drops and you are not going to sell it to anyone.  But, liability being what it is I thought you would want to know.
