Nissan Repair: 2001 altima, mass airflow sensor, computer air

Question
I SPRAYED THE ENG. WITH DEGREASER AND HOSED IT OFF REAL GOOD. IT BARELY WOULD RUN SO I PARKED IT FOR A COUPLE DAYS TO DRY OUT. IT RUNS REAL WELL EXCEPT OCCASIONALLY IT WILL STALL WHEN AT A STOP WHILE IN GEAR AND OCCASIONALLY AT FREEWAY SPEED IT WILL FEEL LIKE ITS GOING TO DIE FOR A FEW SECOND. THEN ITS OK THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN EVERY TRIP. ITS BEEN 2 MONTHS SINCE I HOSED THE ENG.

Answer
Mike,

Pull the harness at the mass airflow sensor and check for water.  Sounds like you have water in the mass airflow sensor harness or another connector.  WD-40 works great for getting water out of connectors.  Use compressed air or one of those computer air cans to blow the water out and then use the WD-40 lightly, to spray the connectors.
